Effective Date: 5/27/2026 Last Updated: 5/27/2026
U Good LLC ("U Good," "we," "us," or "our") operates the website at ugoodreachout.com and the U Good accountability check-in service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described below.
If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use the Service.
1. Who We Are
U Good LLC is a [State of formation] limited liability company. You can reach us at:
- Email: support@ugoodreachout.com
- Mailing address: 347 5th Ave Suite 1402 New York NY 10016
For all privacy questions, opt-out requests, or to exercise the rights described in Section 10, contact us at the email above.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information.
2.1 Information you provide directly
- Member account information: your full name, email address, mobile phone number (in E.164 format), and time zone.
- Check-in preferences: the day(s) and time(s) you select for your scheduled check-ins.
- Accountability buddy contacts: the name(s) and mobile phone number(s) of the 1 to 3 accountability buddies you designate to receive alerts if you miss check-ins.
- Payment information: your subscription is processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVV. Stripe provides us with a customer ID, the last four digits of the card, the card brand, and the billing email associated with your subscription.
- Support communications: any information you send us when you contact support, including the contents of your message.
2.2 Information collected automatically
When you visit the website or use the Service, we automatically receive:
- IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and analyze website usage.
2.3 Information related to SMS interactions
For every check-in message we send and every reply we receive, we log:
- The phone number sent to or received from.
- The message timestamp.
- Whether you replied (used to determine missed check-ins).
- The contents of inbound messages you send to our number.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Deliver the core Service — scheduling and sending check-in SMS messages, processing your replies, and alerting your designated buddies if you miss three consecutive check-ins.
- Process your subscription payments and manage your account.
- Send you transactional and account messages (billing receipts, subscription changes, password resets, service notices).
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Service.
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
We do not use your information, your phone number, or your accountability buddies' information to send marketing or promotional messages from third parties.
4. SMS Messaging Program
4.1 Consent
By checking the SMS consent box at signup, you agree to receive recurring SMS messages from U Good at the mobile number you provided. You also confirm that each accountability buddy you list has agreed to receive SMS alerts from U Good on your behalf if you miss scheduled check-ins. Consent to receive these messages is required to use the Service, because SMS is how the Service operates.
4.2 Types of messages
- Scheduled check-ins at the day and time you select.
- Buddy alerts sent to your designated buddies if you miss three consecutive check-ins.
- Account messages such as billing receipts, subscription confirmations, and service notices.
4.3 Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your check-in schedule and account activity.
4.4 Carrier disclaimer
Message and data rates may apply. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
4.5 Opt out
You can opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any U Good text message. After you reply STOP, you will receive one confirmation message acknowledging the opt-out, and you will not receive further messages. Opting out of SMS messages will end your ability to use the Service.
Accountability buddies can also reply STOP to any U Good alert to opt out of receiving further buddy alerts. If a buddy opts out, they will no longer receive alerts about you, and you remain responsible for designating another buddy if your plan requires one.
4.6 Help
Reply HELP to any U Good text message to receive help, or contact us at support@ugoodreachout.com.
5. How We Share Your Information

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@ugoodreachout.com and we will delete it.

10.2 EEA, UK, and Swiss residents (GDPR/UK GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing your information are: (a) performance of our contract with you, (b) your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), (c) compliance with legal obligations, and (d) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service.
